Real Stories & Tips From People Just Like You

Take a trip to your local library

The TogetherONETM Team

Instead of purchasing books and magazines, borrow them for free (or for a small fee) from your local library. Most libraries now carry movies, allowing you to skip theater ticket and rental fees. Check out your local library for free events for kids and educational opportunities for all ages. It’s a great way to learn and get involved with the community.

It covered it; unbelievable.

David C., TN

I have been prescribed [an anti-anxiety medication] for years. No insurance that I can think of covers that drug. Not TennCare, Medicare, Medicaid, or [m]any self-pay insurance companies. However; when I went into my Good Neighbor Pharmacy, I ask them to try [my TogetherRxAccess card]. When they said it went through and [how much it would cost], I nearly fell [on] the floor. The card saved me a little over $6.00 per prescription. It doesn't sound like much but it does add up.

Participate in a magazine swap!

Laura B., NY

My girlfriends and I subscribe to a few magazines each and we all swap until everyone has read each one. It’s a great way to save money (and save trees) and then when we're all finally done with them I drop them all off at a local bookstore or library that gives them away for free to their customers.

Vinegar

Amy C., FL

Use white vinegar to clean wood and glass, especially if you have a lovely wooden table with glass top like I have! :)
